Macie breaks down essential beginner techniques - such as the walk, dip turn, fan kick, jasmine, and climbing - with detailed cueing and technical instruction to help you understand not just what to do, but why it works. These foundational movements are the building blocks for more advanced tricks, transitions, and choreography, making strong technique essential for long-term progress.
The workshop will also cover climbing drills, climbing variations, and ways to connect foundation skills into smooth, seamless movement around the pole. Expect a supportive learning environment focused on body awareness, efficiency, and creating good habits from the start.
Perfect for absolute beginners as well as for veteran dancers looking to refine their technique and build confidence.

A movement-focused choreography workshop blending floorwork, musicality, transitions, and expressive movement. Suitable for high beginner through advanced dancers, this class emphasizes fluidity, transitional details, and developing confidence in your own movement style.
This 90-minute workshop begins with a flow-based warmup, followed by movement prompts, low flow tricks and transitions, and a short Desert Dancer choreography.
Choreography can be tailored to different moods and performance styles, from emotional contemporary pieces to fun jazz-inspired routines.

This 90-minute advanced tricks workshop is designed for progressive training toward elite pole skills such as bird of paradise, spatchcock, deadlifts, flips, flacks, and phoenixes.
The class begins with an intentional, high-intensity warm-up followed by targeted conditioning drills focused on strength, control, and technique to support long-term skill development and help unlock these “dream moves.”
Emphasis is placed on progressive training and giving dancers the tools to continue building skills safely beyond the workshop. The session concludes with fun, low-advanced spin and static sequences to integrate transitions and flow.
This class will be tailored at a studio’s request to focus on one or two specific skills. This workshop can also be tailored to include beginner- or intermediate-level skills and dancers, such as inverts, handsprings, and jade splits.
Prerequisites adjusted based on the studio’s selection.

This 75-minute heels workshop focuses on building strong technique, clean lines, and confident movement in heels.
We'll explore concepts like threading, gliding, and edgework to help you connect movements with greater fluidity and control. We will also train tricks such as rolls, kips, and cyclones while emphasizing control and precise footwork. The class breaks down how to maintain balance, clarity, and intention while dancing in heels.
Prior experience in shoes is required. Kneepads required. This class can be geared towards high beginner or advanced dancers at the studio’s choice.

Ready to unlock your handspring?! This 75-minute workshop guides students through structured drills and progressive pathways designed to build strength, control, and efficient momentum for a consistent, repeatable entry.
Students who already have handsprings will refine advanced grips and rotational pathways (Full Moon, rotational handsprings) and develop smoother transitions into phoenix entries. Emphasis is on efficient momentum generation, shoulder stability, and grip placement to build reliable, repeatable advanced entries.
Pre-reqs: aerial invert, extended butterfly, inverted d, apprentice.
Please note: This workshop is fast-paced and drill-heavy. Students should already feel confident being upside down and supporting their body weight through their shoulders.

Spin Flow & Dynamic Transitions is a 90-minute spin pole workshop focused on fluid movement, creative entries, and seamless aerial pathways. Students will explore unique climbing entries, dynamic twizzles, and intentional transitions that build into shoulder mounts, splits, and ballerina pathways.
This workshop emphasizes control, timing, and movement quality while helping dancers develop confidence connecting advanced elements smoothly and creatively. Expect a mix of spin technique, combo-building, and transitional flow designed to challenge students while expanding their movement vocabulary.
Workshop content can be tailored to the studio’s preferred level, with progressions and modifications available for intermediate through advanced dancers.
Feel free to mix and match elements or build your own custom experience. Macie is also happy to create and teach workshops tailored to specific skills, themes, or goals requested by the studio.

Pricing
Group Workshops
75-minute workshops: $40 per student
90-minute workshops: $45 per student
Studios set workshop prices at their discretion.
Maximum of 2 students per pole.
Minimum booking requirement: 6 students per workshop
Private Training
Private lesson (60 minutes): $90
Semi-private session: $120 total (shared between participants). Max 3 participants.
Booking & Payment
All workshops require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure the date. This deposit is applied toward the final invoice.
Final payment is due no later than the day of the last workshop unless otherwise arranged in writing. Macie accepts Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and cash. If paying via debit or credit card, there is a 9% tax rate.
If Macie is already in the area, no lodging is required.
For bookings outside of the local area, studios may be responsible for covering lodging. All travel details will be confirmed during booking.
