ABOUT Macie
Macie is a New Mexico–based pole dancer, choreographer, performer, and movement educator. She is the owner of New Mexico Pole Arts, where she teaches pole tricks, flow, flexibility, conditioning, and choreography.
With a background in classical and competitive dance, Macie brings 10 years of teaching experience across dance and tumbling disciplines. She is X-Pert pole certified and continues to train under leading industry professionals, with mentors including Pole Kitten, Meg the Supernova, and JonnyBoi.
As a choreographer, Macie is known for her contemporary-driven style that blends musicality, emotion, and clean technical execution. She’s a professionally medaled competitor and offers competition coaching.
Macie’s approach to movement is grounded in both artistry and science. She continues to expand her expertise through specialized coursework for pole instructors covering anatomy, biomechanics, movement assessment, exercise science, injuries, and pregnancy and postpartum. She believes strong technique and informed training create the foundation for freedom in movement and expression.
In addition to her work as an educator and artist, Macie is a studio owner and business consultant. After opening her first studio in 2024 and expanding to a second location in 2026, she now works with other studio owners to develop advanced programming, progressive curriculum structures, and workshop offerings. Her consulting also includes support in pricing strategy, marketing, studio operations, class structure, and student retention.
Across all areas of her work, Macie’s philosophy remains consistent: to provide dancers with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to move safely, expressively, and authentically while building sustainable practices that support both artistry and longevity.
