Participation at Your Own Risk

Participation in online classes is voluntary and at your own risk. Pole dance, flexibility, conditioning, and fitness activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You are responsible for ensuring that your training space, equipment, and physical condition are appropriate for participation.

Health & Medical Responsibility

If you have any medical concerns, injuries, or health conditions, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating. You agree to stop any activity immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

  • Your pole and equipment are properly installed and maintained.

  • Your workout area is clear of hazards and provides adequate space.

  • You wear appropriate clothing and footwear (if applicable) for the class.

Macie is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improperly installed equipment or unsafe training environments.

Know Your Limits

Only attempt skills that are appropriate for your current ability level. If an instructor provides regressions or modifications, you are encouraged to use them. Never attempt a movement that feels unsafe or beyond your current capabilities.

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in online classes and release, waive, and hold harmless New Mexico Pole Arts, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Recordings

Classes may be recorded and made available to registered participants or others after the live session. By joining the Zoom class, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • If your camera or microphone is enabled, your image, voice, or name may appear in the recording.

  • You may choose to keep your camera and microphone off if you do not wish to appear.

  • Class recordings are for the personal use of registered participants only and may not be shared, reproduced, distributed, downloaded, uploaded, or posted on any platform without written permission from Macie.
